Tian Luo(骆甜)was born in Hubei, China. She received her BSc from Capital Normal University in 2014. During her MSc studies, she was jointly supervised by Prof. Wei Li from Capital Normal University, and Prof. Jianling Zhang and Prof. Buxing Han at the Institute of Chemistry, Chinese Academy of Sciences. In September 2017, she was awarded the Present Doctoral Scholarship and began her PhD in the University of Manchester, UK under the supervision of Prof. Sihai Yang and Prof. Martin Schröder. She successfully completed her doctoral degree in October 2021 and was honored with the Scholarship for Outstanding Self-Funded International Students in December 2021. Subsequently, she undertook a postdoctoral position as a Humboldt Research Fellow at Dresden University of Technology, Germany, from 2021 to 2024, working with Prof. Stefan Kaskel and Prof. Volodymyr Bon. She then returned to the University of Manchester for another postdoctoral position until February 2025. In Marth 2025, Dr. Luo joined the School of Chemical and Molecular Engineering at Peking University as a Special Associate Research Fellow. Her research interests focus on confined catalysis, encompassing the construction of new novel porous materials and the design of interfacial structures in green solvents, for various applications such as photocatalytic carbon dioxide reduction, water splitting, organic redox transformations, degradation or conversion of microplastics, and adsorption and conversion of heavy metals in seawater. We look forward to those who are interested in related research contacting us and joining our research group to enjoy scientific research together.
